Daddy.

Yesterday Grace asked Eric if maybe she should stop calling him Daddy and "maybe, you know, call him something like Dad." I'm not sure why- we've never had any discussion about it at all. Maybe the kids at school talked about it, or maybe she decided on her own that she needed to be more grown up- we didn't ask her, so we don't know. Eric told her very carefully that she could do whatever she thought was the right thing for her. I think she must have seen the look on Eric's face, though, because she told him that "Daddy" would be fine for a little while longer.

"Mommy" on the other hand, locked herself in the playroom closet & maybe cried for just a little bit.
(also, is there any way to photoshop Doritos off a kid's face? because that would be a good thing for me to learn.)

They are doing The Exact Same Smile! Have I mentioned my unnatural love for Grace lately? 'Cause it's still there.

Must be a girl thing with the parent's names: Kate now calls me "Haaaaamonieeee" as in, "wheeeeere you, Haaaaamonieee?" and "E poooooped Haaaaamonieee"

Bring on the Photoshop healing brush for Doritos? I whitened Colin's teeth the other day in a picture--I'm a bad person.

Is this comment random? I'm on my fourth Moutain Dew for the day. My hair is throbbing.

I think Doritos, mac 'n cheese and chocolate should be on the face of every child under the age of 22, ESPECIALLY in photos.

I began calling my mother "Pat" at about age four, simply because I got her attention quicker when I did.

Harmony, you are not allowed to read the following paragraph.

Try not to worry too much about Grace growing up too fast. She will always be a little girl in your heart, believe me.
