A partial list of random crap I have tried to do... in honor of Harmony's Quest for a Hobby (which, by the way, I thought was photography and maybe mocking people- both of which she is exceedingly fabulous at.)
- Barrette making- total of 4 barrettes, got bored.
- Tutu making- 400 yards of tulle later...
- Cake Decorating- I took a class. I am just not very good at this one.
- Piano- also lacking in natural talent.
- Gardening- I have planted pumpkin seeds. We'll see.
- Sewing. (just don't ask)
- Home Decorating- 2 painted walls down, 2150 square feet to go. Hate painting.
- Photography- pictures taken to date: approx 6000. Printed: 8 (maybe 9)
- Journaling- I have lots of blank journals. They're pretty to loook at.
- Cooking- Did you know owning lots of cookbooks does not make you a good cook? At least the pictures are nice.
- Card Making- Has anyone out there ever received a hand made card from me? No?
- Scrapbooking- involves actual "printing" of pictures. See above.
- Needlepoint- bad eyesight makes threading difficult. Also very boring.
- Knitting- actually got crazy addicted for almost one whole month. Made lots of hats and a very long scarf. Used a "knifty knitter" which is like cheating. Also liked buying lots of pretty yarn, which now sit in a pretty basket.
- "Working Out" HAHAHAHAHA!
- Furniture Refinishing- too many involved steps.
- Very Large Dogs- who also pooped VERY large poops.
- Assortment of projects involving Power Tools.
- Guppies- I was young. Did you know they eat their babies?
- Crock Potting (crock-pottery?)- the ultimate in lazy cooking.
- Hair-cutting to save money, but only on Eric's head. (hey, the clippers came with a video)
Here's some Stuff I will probably try to do sometime in the future (Eric can consider this a warning. He should probably make sure our homeowners/medical insurance is up-to-date)
- Welding- it looks like fun. Also probably Very Useful in the right situation.
- Swing set assembly- it's being shipped to our house RIGHT NOW. The manual is FIFTY PAGES LONG. I am giddy with excitement.
- Decorative ceiling faux finishes to be attempted in the dining room.
- Raspberry Jam Making.
- The installation of various electrical "upgrades" in our perfectly good new house.
- Dance Dance Revolution. Because I am a dork.
Hobbies I should embrace, because I am already really good at them...
- Sitting on couch.
- Watching movies while sitting on couch.
- Annoying Eric (who is also quite good at annoying me)
- Embarrassing my children- I am awesome at this... they're not even teenagers yet!
- Staring into space (which also annoys Eric)
- Spending too much time on the Internets, especially looking up what Britney Spears is doing.
- Making fun of people who run for no reason (also the people who wear the spandex bike shorts with the padding. They're just asking for it.)
- Organizing, reorganizing, then messing everything up within 2-3 days.
- Ordering Pizza.
- Washing laundry, folding laundry, leaving clean folded laundry in piles that eventually get mixed up with dirty laundry, repeating entire process.
- Correcting other people's spelling and/or grammer.
- Rambling- for example, like this post.

Your post labels are quickly becoming my favorite thing.
You would be The Kewlest for learning to weld. I would do it just for the big face mask you get to wear (and then I would freak my kids out with us, just for s&g) (edited for bloggy world)
Don't discount being able to put pretty yarn in a pretty basket. I hear that's a rare gift.
We have much more in common than I thought:
- Cake Decorating. Had fun doing it while living in Germany (Germans and Brits have nothing like our cakes/frosting/decorating) until I did a wedding cake for a couple getting married in our branch - never again.
- Watching movies. Harmony will attest to the fact that I will watch movies/ television shows again and again and again until I can give you every word of every scene plus all the director's cuts, comments and deleted scenes (God invented DVDs just for me)
- Organizing, reorganizing, then messing everything up within 2-3 days - I have been hired and paid good money to do this.
- Ordering Pizza - only trouble here is that they won't deliver 20+ miles out of town, but I am excellent at this (or really any take-out food) and talking my husband into picking it up (and paying for) on his way home
- Rambling- SOUL SISTERS!
