From the few times I've seen it, the Ellen D. show is wonderful because it feels so RELAXED. And anyone can who wear those archaic black basketball shoes on television every day has my vote.
Now the big step for me is to actually MEAN to watch the show - I seem to stumble across it only when I am searching for "Jeopardy" in order to feel intellectually superior (except, of course, for categories involving any sort of history before 1956, sports information other than basketball, and quotes from W.C. Fields - I always attribute them to Woody Allen by mistake).
