Not Awesome.

So this is my baby book. There was a water-related accident at my parents house and it did not survive. I am currently trying to scan everything that can be saved- it should take me just about FREAKING FOREVER.

So take my advice- back your stuff up. Scan it, save it, burn it... whatever. This just totally sucks.

(On a positive note- I now have a very valid excuse for avoiding any and all housework. Sorry kids, no dinner tonight- mommy's salvaging what is left of her childhood. You will totally thank me some day.)

Please don't freak out too much. Photographs are great/wonderful, but the memories you are making today with your two girls is more important.

Ask Harmony what I kept telling her when she and Blake were evacuating because of the wildfires around Chula Vista - it really is true.
